Judicial Evaluation

Judicial candidates seeking OCAABA's endorsement should contact OCAABA or download the below attachments to obtain a Judicial Endorsement Application and two character reference Confidential Questionnaires.

For any questions about the process or if you do not receive a confirmation of receipt of your initial application submission, please email contactus@ocaaba.org.

Please note that the evaluation process takes approximately two months from the date the Judicial Evaluation Committee receives your completed Application and the Confidential Questionnaires.

NOTE: It is OCAABA's policy not to endorse any of our sitting officers and board members.

The OCAABA Judicial Evaluation Committee evaluates candidates based on their demonstrated qualifications, integrity, experience, and commitment to the fair administration of justice. The Committee does not engage in political favoritism or any personal preference, but evaluates each candidate using objective standards relevant to judicial service. Our endorsements reflect support for an individual's qualifications and fitness for the bench, not an exclusive endorsement of one individual over another.
