Clyde & Co US LLP is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate with 1 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic practice. This role focuses on the defense of complex product liability matters (including environmental, asbestos, and talc) and commercial disputes. You will work closely with policyholders, brokers, the London Market, and other domestic and international insurers handling latent insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and document demands.
- Take depositions and attend hearings and mediations.
- Conduct deep legal research and manage document collections for litigation.
Qualifications
- Education/Bar: J.D. or LL.M. and active admission to the California Bar (required).
- Experience: Proven commercial litigation, courtroom motion, and trial experience are required. Background in asbestos or toxic torts is highly ideal.
