Manning Kass is a national civil litigation defense firm that stands out from the rest—every case and client matters. Established in 1994 with just sixteen attorneys, we have expanded over the past thirty years to more than 170 attorneys across eight offices, including major economic hubs like New York and Los Angeles.

The position will help manage a diverse range of cases, including defending employers and insurers against employment related litigation.  Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation—from case evaluation and discovery to attending workers’ compensation appeal board hearing. 

Responsibilities: Must be an active California Bar member with strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills and a self-motivated team player who can work independently and proactively manage client communications throughout litigation.

Qualifications:  J.D. required with active California licensure. Strong legal research, writing, communication, advocacy, analytical, and time management skills are essential. Workers’ compensation experience of 1+ year is preferred but not required.

Locations (California): Costa Mesa, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Annual salary with benefits: $125,000 - $175,000, plus bonus.
