As an Educational Law Attorney, you play a critical role in representing education agencies across all aspects of general civil litigation. In addition to this broad litigation experience, you bring specialized expertise in the unique claims and defenses available to public entities, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the procedural frameworks that govern them.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute litigation strategy across all stages, including discovery and depositions, while representing clients in hearings, motions, and mediations.

  • Maintain proactive client communication, analyze liability and damages, review legal documents, and develop cost-effective case resolutions.

Qualifications:  A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required with active California Bar admission and at least four years of litigation experience preferred. Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills needed, with civil litigation experience—preferably involving public entities or education agencies—and knowledge of applicable laws, including governmental immunities and claims statutes.

Locations (California) Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, San Diego, and Inland Empire.

Annual salary with benefits: $135,000 - $180,000.
