The California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, located in Los Angeles, is accepting applications for an appellate attorney to work in Central Staff. The attorney will work collaboratively with the managing attorney and justices in the preparation of opinions. The attorney’s duties will include reviewing appellate briefs and trial records, researching and analyzing the law, preparing initial drafts of opinions, reviewing and proofreading opinions by the justice, and performing other tasks as assigned by the justice.
