Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) is a terrific national program that is looking for attorneys to take pro bono immigration cases for undocumented children who are in deportation proceedings, especially those from Asian countries - and APABA, SCCLA & SABA are working with NAPABA & KIND to promote the program in LA. 9/28 Whittier Law School Legal Leader Series "Filing a Criminal Case from the Perspective of a Deputy District Attorney" with Hon. Andre Mansourian
Every fourth Tuesday of the month from July to November, Whittier Law School will host a Legal Leader Series: "Orange County's Newest Judges". This special summer series brings together Orange County's legal community in an intimate setting to meet Orange County's five newest Superior Court judges. Each month a new judge will present a topic of his or her choice and be awarded the Legal Leader's Award. Members in attendance can receive one credit of MCLE for each presentation. 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
